soft_particles command

Syntax

soft_particles option

• option = required keyword

option = "yes" or "no"

Examples

soft_particles yes

Description

Setting soft_particle yes will suppress warnings for simulations with particles that have a Youngs Modulus smaller than 5e6 (SI units) or 5e7 (CGS Units). Note that this might cause particles to pass through each other or they might pass through walls under certain circumstances.
