hard_particles command

Syntax

hard_particles option

• option = required keyword

option = "yes" or "no"

Examples

hard_particles yes

Description

Setting hard_particles yes will suppress warnings for simulations with particles that have a Youngs Modulus greater than 1e9 (SI units) or 1e10 (CGS units). Note that the time step needs to be adapted accordingly to avoid numerical instabilities.
